The 5th Pacific Symposium on Flow Visualization and Image Processing

Daydream on the Great Barrier Reef

The fifth Pacific Symposium on Flow Visualization and Image Processing will be held on 27th to 29th September, 2005 under the auspices of the Pacific Centre of Thermal-Fluids Engineering (PCTFE). The first three conferences were held on the Hawaiian islands in 1997, 1999 and 2001 while the fourth was in France at Chamonix in 2003. The symposium now returns to the Pacific where it will be held on an island near the Great Barrier Reef off the north east coast of Australia. The Great Barrier Reef is one of the world’s great natural wonders.
